In early 2022, NTEX moved into its new premises with full-service warehouse operations on Källvattenvägen in Malmö. With its 20 gates, excellent location, and web-based system, customers around the world can easily tailor their distribution solutions.

NTEX’s new facility in Malmö is 11,000 square metres, and houses both terminal and warehouse operations, with space for pallet racking. On site, NTEX AB and NTEX Domestic employ approximately 20 people. One of them is Fredrik Casagrande, Area Sales Manager at NTEX, who has been in the business since the 1980s.

“We have a great cooperation with the NTEX facility in Helsingborg. Since we opened up in Malmö, we have been able to fine-tune our offering, and moved some customers from Helsingborg to Malmö, to better match our on-site expertise to customer needs,” says Fredrik Casagrande.

Warehouse Operations with Full-service Solution

With its 20 gates and great location, the facility is perfect for cross-docking and warehouse operations.

The warehouse also has a convenient web-based system, in which customers can tailor their own distribution solutions. The system can be linked to customers’ own business systems, allowing them to place orders directly from their offices. In their own respective systems, customers can place their call-offs, which trigger a requisition order as well as a distribution order. Customers can also choose the shipping destination, which makes the system a full-service solution. With warehouse operations across Europe, NTEX offers a seamless solution for its customers.

“The system is particularly valuable for small companies, who may not have the same in-house solutions as larger companies do. The facility’s location, adjacent to Ringvägen, provides great access for our transportation needs. From the warehouse, goods can be delivered quickly to the rest of Skåne, as well as to the rest of Sweden,” says Fredrik Casagrande.

Excellent Freight Climate

The facility also has an excellent freight climate, and in terms of temperature and humidity it is well-suited for indoor goods, including foodstuffs and packaging, etc. Security at the facility is also high, with the entire operation fenced in and under camera surveillance around the clock. NTEX in Malmö distributes goods for both domestic and foreign markets. The cargo includes common goods, such as wood shavings, paper, and machine cargo.
